Atlantic City Express Service started running on February 6, 2009 between Atlantic City to New York City.
The service runs from Friday to Sunday and you can travel First Class, Coach and Lounge. To make reservations please call 877-326-7428.

The Train
• The Atlantic City Express Service, LLC (ACES), is a joint venture between Caesars Atlantic
City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
• ACES will include two four-car multi-level train sets offering comfortable and convenient travel
with leather seating, a choice of first-class or coach class service, and food and beverage
options.
• The ACES train contains a private lounge with audio visual capabilities available for larger
groups to rent so that they can travel, eat and drink together in a fun and relaxed group
environment.
• First class offers upgraded seating on the upper deck of the train with servers available for
food and beverage delivery.
• ACES provides residents of New York and New Jersey a direct transportation option between
the two cities that currently does not exist.
• Through a management contract with ACES, NJ TRANSIT will operate the train service.
ACES has partnered with Amtrak to provide ticketing and reservation services.
• Compass Group will handle food & beverage service; Bombardier was contracted for the rail
car enhancements. Julien Inc. designed and built the food & beverage kiosks, lounge and
luggage racks; in addition, KSU Inc. was responsible for the design and building of the seats.
STV Inc. acted as the overall project manager.
• The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) was instrumental in helping fund the
joint venture. CRDA invested $4.5 million over 3 years for the purchase of locomotives.
The Route
• Atlantic City Express Service (ACES) will provide weekend (Friday-Sunday) travel from New
York City to Atlantic City which will run along the NJ TRANSIT rail lines and take about 2.5
hours.
• The train will depart from New York’s Penn Station and make one stop in Newark, NJ, before
continuing direct to Atlantic City.
• ACES will provide a complimentary shuttle service from the Atlantic City Terminal station to
Harrah’s, Caesars and Borgata, return service will be provided only for passengers with
reserved tickets for ACES.
• Introductory ticket prices will start at $50 for a one-way coach seat and $75 for a one-way first
class seat. Passengers can book the lounge at an additional rental charge of $400.
